Colombia Huila Gran Galope

Huila, Colombia

Huila, located in southwestern Colombia, is a unique coffee-producing region nestled between the Central and Eastern ranges of the Andes. The region’s diverse elevation and climate create ideal conditions for coffee cultivation. The true excellence of Huila's coffee lies in the dedication of its people, with 80% of producers operating on less than three hectares. Despite its small-scale farming, Huila contributes nearly 20% of Colombia’s coffee production, showcasing the region's remarkable quality and complexity.

Gran Galope offerings come from smallholder farmers, each contributing to a blend that is traceable to its region of origin. Selections from Huila are cupped and purchased in Pitalito.
