Simple AeroPress Recipe

At Conscious Cup, we've been using the AeroPress since 2007 and have always loved its simplicity and enormous potential for flavor.

What you'll need

  • AeroPress and Filter
  • Grinder
  • Scale
  • Clean spring or filtered water (200g)
  • Conscious Cup Coffee (11g)

Directions

  1. Set the brewer in the standard position on a server. No need to rinse or preheat the brewer.
  2. Weigh out 11 grams of coffee and grind it to a medium consistency.
  3. Start a timer, add 200 grams of water, aiming to wet all the coffee during pouring.
  4. Immediately place the plunger on top of the brewer, about 1cm in. This creates a vacuum to stop the coffee from dripping through.
  5. Wait 2 minutes.
  6. Holding the brewer and the plunger, gently swirl the brewer.
  7. Wait 30 seconds.
  8. Press gently all the way, taking about 30 seconds.
  9. Drink and enjoy!
